Especialitats Masdeu SL, a family company, specialized in the production of ready-to-fill bases, such as tart shells, tulips, mini-cones & macarons. In 2016, she bought Mariebel, located in the Vendée region of France, and specialized in the production of puff pastry bases, guaranteed free of colouring and flavours, and made according to the traditional French method. This long and highly technical process ensures a light texture to the successive layers of laminate. At the beginning of 2021, Especialitats Vilà, joined the Group with a large assortment of easy to use sponge cakes. Our product ranges are available for both savoury and sweet preparations. Destinated to a varied clientele (final consumers, cooks, pastry chefs, manufacturers), Mariebel - Masdeu Group continues to provide quality products that will reveal the talent and culinary creativity of those who fill them. Our past as craftsmen is demonstrated by our high quality requirements, which are implemented in the selection of ingredients and in our manufacturing.
